Hello lovelies, as the festive season is round the corner we are all gearing up ourselves for the festivities by preparing the best for festivals by shopping for home decors, clothes and makeup. Today lets talk about preparing the skin for the makeup so that our skin looks naturally beautiful with the minimal makeup.. This Clinique Pep-start range's hydroblur moisturizer is an oil free/ gel based moisturizer which claims to act as a moisturizer cum primer which can blur out the skin imperfections and appearance of pores and fine lines.
- Details of the product:
This product comes in a quirky , cute blue and white jar packaging with screw cap which grabs attention to use it more frequently. inside the jar it is a pale pink thick gel cream . This product comes in 2 sizes.
Rs 1500 for 30 ML & Rs. 2500 for 50ML
- My Views For The Product:
<>This product is oil free gel based cream which blends and gets absorbed in skin very easily, without leaving any sort of cast on skin.
<> This is an amazing product if you like to have a dewy look days because it is a blurring moisturizer and not a mattifying one. Thus its blessings for the dry skin people.
<> Clinique products being fragrance free, they are suitable for sensitive skin as well. But this product. On a very first use it broke me out but having spent a lot i again gave it a shot and it started working good smoothing out my skin in a literal way.
<> The packaging is too bulky to carry around, and as a high end product, packaging looks too plasticy and not up to the mark. Plus the tub packaging is an issue for the hygiene purpose as well.
<> The product claims to be a hydrating product which acts like a primer, YES this product does moisturizes the skin through out the day, as much that an oily or combination skin people won't enjoy this product after 2 or 3 hours as after that skin starts getting oil which we are not able to avoid even after powdering or blotting.
<> The product leaflet claims that it acts amazing under the foundation, however it never co-operated with my foundation, It started moving around like insane. (IE. Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless). This can give you great canvas on the days when you dont feel like putting on the makeup but still you want to even out the fine lines and skin imperfections.
- Conclusion:
This product needs the practice to work with because before combining anything with this product, you require it to settle down on the skin for atleast 10 to 15 mins. And if you have that much of patience.. It does WONDERS in minimizing the skin imperfections and giving natural glow to the skin as the day passes (for oily skin people). So Its a YES for Normal to combination skin people.
Thank You.
